Our Selection Process

  1. Submission Review
Legacies in Action Society will review the information contained in the Letter of Inquiry with respect to our focus areas, granting approach and available resources. Pending the results of this review, the society may request a full proposal.
  2. Proposal
Legacies in Action Society and the applicant will work together to ensure the proposal information is complete.
  3. Grants review committee
Proposals will then be submitted to the Legacies in Action Society’s grants review committee for review. We request confidentiality when submitting proposals for review, and we will share comments and feedback directly with the applicant. We may also share comments with other funders.
  4. Board consideration
After completion of the grants review process, proposals are presented to the Legacies in Action Society Board of Directors, who make the final funding decision.
